Controversial WWF 9/11 Ad Became Viral. WWF-Brazil Regrets Decision to Approve Video.

  Right before anniversary of 9/11  video which was created by WWF Brazil hit the web and became viral. Commercial which shows 9/11 terrorist attack and mention 2004 tsunami appeared on thousands blogs like Break or Adverblog and video sharing websites. In less than a day over 45 000 people watched it on YouTube, many of them discuss their outrage: “sad how people can exploit this tragedy so soon, or at all for that matter” posted BALLlSLlFE user from Canada.

UK Advertising Standards Authority Banned American Apparel Ad

 UK Advertising Standards Authority has banned American Apparel which feature young photo model (apparently under 16 years old). It was suggested that model “stipping off for amateur photoshot”. Decision was made after single compaint from a citizen who saw ad in Vice Magazine.

Photos which appeared in Vice Magazine and caused ASA to ban ads.

 It was suggested by UK Advertising Standards Authority that ad appeared to be provocative and offensive. ASA said in their statement that images of the model, who are under 16, were “provocative with the model exposing progressively more skin”.
