Twitter changed terms of service and allow advertising.
Twitter blog states: “In the Terms, we leave the door open for advertising. We’d like to keep our options open as we’ve said before”. Also, more added about spam: “Abusive behavior and spam is also outlined in these terms according to the rules we’ve been operating under for some time.”
It is clear that micro-blogging social network is looking for ways to make money. Advertising on Twitter will allow to reach almost 50 million people who already use Twitter service.
“The services may include advertisements, which may be targeted to the content or information on the services, queries made through the services, or other information,” the terms read. “The types and extent of advertising by Twitter on the services are subject to change.”
