Who Told That There is Nothing Left to Blog About? Look at People of Walmart!

My co-worker showed me the funniest blog ever, it called People of Walmart. It is photo blog with collection of images whith funny, wierd, crazy, and trashy people who shop in Walmart. From one side, it is a blog where you want to see every photo and read every post, but from another side it makes you realize ”OMG, we live in this country!”. My favorite shot is a photo of some redneck who shop in Walmart wearing “While You Were Reading This… I Farted” t-shirt.
I was suprised to find that blog launched not long ago but according Alexa, traffic skyrocketed during the last couple weeks and now it is in top 40 000 most visited websites. By the end of August website went viral and was featured in many news networks like Yahoo News, Telegraph, CNN, and others. According Telegraph, Poeple of Walmart became one of the most searchable website of the web. Now it is accepting photos from the readers and receiving hundreds submissions each day. Moreover, it’s offers $100 Walmart giftcard to the author of the best submitted image. I guess winner will have a chance to go again and capture some new images for a next month contest.
